Took the afternoon to learn fusion 360 and whip up my first non-replacement part design.

ABEC 7 ! reminds me of growing up on rollber blades :) and upgrading the bearings ha ha.


That's pretty awesome that it glows... I'm thinking I may have to get a 3d printer just for that and kids projects, they'd love it!

So far I have found the abec ratings to be largely ignored... I have abec 5-11 with no noticeable differences between them. I have found nylon runners with ceramic or silicon nitride bearings to be the deciding factor in internal friction.
