I have bought around 30-40x Samsung sm843t from him, all worked great. You can PM him and asked for low power on hours drives and discount for bulk order, which other sellers are not willing to do. Most of my drives came with less than 500 power on hours.

@carlitoCabeza hehe welcome to STH where buying used HDD and SSD will become your 'normal' after a bit here ;)

I was the way you were prior to this site, and let me tell you I missed out on a bunch of Enterprise and higher performing gear than I could really afford by buying only new consumer hardware!! Now I'm a used enterprise junky... haha

@T_Minus hahaha you're so right! Just after clicking buy now, I remembered the 200 I paid for a sandisk extreme 480gb, I felt like whoa why I didn't knew about this before! Kind sad honestly, but paring this one in raid0 in order to move files quickly in my workflow (I do motion graphics for a living, 4k is really demanding) will make it right.

Winter is coming! Better be prepared! ;)

Hehe don't feel bad @carlitoCabeza I spent thousands on consumer drives thinking qty would out way perform quality in the enterprise space... boy was I wrong, and sadly consumer drives EXTREMELY drop in price too! lost my shorts learning, but we all do at one point or another. Education isn't free be it at a real institution or from self experimenting we all learn some way or another... and in the end it does pay off :)

I tell my wife the $$ I spent learning about enterprise hardware is like a complete education ;) it will pay for itself now/in the future, but it wasn't cheap :) and coming from someone who's been leasing hardware in one way or another since 2001 my education from STH, deals, and buying and selling due to mistakes has taught me an amazing amount about hardware.

Do not be afraid to try/test different things or go against what "normal" businesses do :)
After all you want to set yourself apart :)
