Xeon 2690 performs roughly the same at 2.9-3.8 turbo for 175 usd. Anything else diffrent?

its a good deal for Europe. The cheapest i found in US is around 230 + 40 shipping + Custom fees. so its really ok for "us in Europe"

and i think if you contact him directly and want some more , you will get a better price.

need to mention thar the 2690 have a lower TDP. 15Watts

I'd rather have a E5-2687W v2. Oddly, the E5-2687W v2 is cheaper than the E5-2690 v2, but the E5-2690 is cheaper than the E5-2687W.
