UNIXSurplus is an approved vendor (I think many of us have bought from.) I did not approve this particular post but will retroactively approve and send a note to them.

I'm in Australia, can these work with 230 Volts and 50 Hertz electricity supply?

I guess I will wait till they have the 2015 on sale then.
The GF's chromebook is 7 years old and counting. Works like a champ. I don't see anything on the 2015 that the 2013 doesn't have except for double the storage. On a chromebook storage is immaterial as everything is in the cloud.

Would be nice to have this chromebook support Wireless AC but you get what you get.

Ram, I want more than 4gb ram. Even for just browsing on chrome...

Have you ever used one of these? Even though they run Google Chrome these chromebooks are not an all devouring RAM killer like the fat client on a normal Desktop?

She has dozen+ tabs open and this lil acer notebook is still going strong.

Is the deal only for the WIFI version? I see the LTE version is also on sale. Would you consider giving a discount to the LTE version?

Son of a....I didn't even see that. I'm hoping on the phone and calling them. I hope i can get that one as it doubles the amount of storage.

I called, spoke with Miles, he's kicking this up the chain.

I don't mind paying a bit more honestly if i can get that $100 off.

If the discount is approved I told them to update the post to reflect the additional model.

Yeah, if the LTE version is also $100 off, then I'd be very tempted...
YOUR WISH IS GRANTED!

For $50 more you get the LTE version. UnixSurplus will upgrade your order but you need to CALL them.

They will be updating the main post with the bigger version accordingly.

I may end up using this laptop on locations where I can't get wifi but can get cell service.

Thanks @UNIXSurplus and @Patrick for making this deal happen.

Does the LTE version work with Verizon? Also does chrome OS support SSL VPN and remote desktop? I'm think it be good travel laptop for work if I can remote into my home server.
