Wish they didn't use so much power 4x of those 825gb would be kickass in a lot of systems that cost little to build!!

@azev depends if you enable the 'fast' mode ie: extra power mode, etc...

"Fusion-io states that if the host server is rated for a 55w power draw, the software override can safely be enabled."

If not they will still use up to 25W iirc each.

Note: That is UP TO as it will use most power on writes, and when QD is high... so in a server that gets real-usage / constant IO it will be using power all the time.

Not me.
I did the math and decided to pass.
Yesterday, pickup 2 x 640gb FusionIO card for $90 each = 14 cent per GB

Yeah the Fusion cards have all come down a ton in the past year, it's pretty awesome. I got a 1.2T iodrive2 around two months ago myself for $300. They are starting to multiply around here like rabbits :D

My deal was BO, the seller accepted my very low first bid. Listing shown 5 cards , I offered $90 for all 5 cards.
But he only have 2 cards to sell me.

Like @jfeldt mentioned, the market is saturate with FusionIO cards, some seller still hoping for the good old day's price.
Some sellers willing to unload it fast.

My target price for the FusionIO cards is 640GB for $125 or less.
For my homelab purpose, seldom you will find cheap and fast in the same hardware.
