I am not sure of the chassis model ,its a decommissioned fireeye appliance we had laying around in the back, its 2u and holds 8 sas3 drives. with a crystalfonz lcd on the front.

We have a chassis with a h8DGU-F inside it. Obliviously it needs to be replaced, but what motherboards have similar I/O layout? The chassis does not have a removable backplate.

Found a way to go to recovery mode if cimc has locked you out, and you cant get in with default credentials. hook a console cable to the cimc port on the front, and load your terminal program, when it prompts, press *** press enter, type in boot current recovery . press enter it will need a...

i have bios and cimc updates. just cant get into cimc to apply them

You can go to the bios by pressing F6 while connected to the console port. The password is not set, set a password and the bios will let you right in.

the drive in mine is an micron 5100 max 250GB SED m2 sata . There is a recovery built into the cent os boot, but its also password protected. I know you can wipe and load esxi but would rather use NFVIS
