I highly recommend these TCL Roku TVs. I picked up a 50" 4K model about a year ago, refurbished on Woot for $299. It's surprisingly a good TV for the price. Keep an eye on Slickdeals, I see them pop up on there every couple of weeks.

@dwright1542 - do you know if it was possibly a dual-rate 1G/10G transceiver that you used? Finisar makes one, model FTLX1471D3BCV.

@Aestr Yeah, I just bought one for $225, but thinking of getting a second. If he's in my neck of the woods, shipping is cheap, or meetup is an option.
