SSD will work fine in the same Caddy, Power will be lower.

Sorry for late reply, SG3 Available for Windows and Linux. http://sg.danny.cz/sg/sg3_utils.html I used windows10 64bit version , works fine.Not with SSD.

SAS SSD with 520 bps will not work with sg3 utility!!! Mechanical drives will work fine.
