That's the 2P10G1TA, which has a review on STH. The 2P10G1TB is fully gen3 (you can check the QNAP website for the specs). I haven't tried it myself but it should fit just barely. Considering the QM2-2P-384 does work and uses the same switch I am fairly certain the 2P10G1TA will work as well.
That sounds like a lot of effort when cards with a built in PCIe switch to split the x8 into x4+x4 are available for under £50 (search for ASM1812 on Aliexpress) - assuming what you want is to run 2 extra M.2 NVMe. I've been running that 4xM.2+SATA SSD setup with Truenas without any issue.

That's correct there is no caddy that can clip into the larger copper cooler of the P350. It doesn't really matter as there is still more than enough room to fit one or more SATA SSDs and the 00XL211 ZIF connector works fine
Are there any bifurcation settings available in the P350 BIOS to split the x8 port without a PCIe switch? The question was asked on Lenovo forums for P340 (which doesn't and won't support it), wondering if it's the same on P350 (probably yes)
It's very likely be possible by removing the PCB from the 2.5" enclosure, they are full of air. I can confortably fit 2x4TB in a dell 3070, even with power splitters, SATA cables and M.2->SATA adapter.
Sorry for the questions, I'm very tempted to get a P350 as Laptop direct is selling them refurbished under £400, but I'm hesitating because I will need to get both a PCIE riser (for raid controller) and a drive bay/ribbon cable (for SATA power, I have SATA QVO drives) and both are looking...
That's indeed a pretty good deal for the P350, but I'm confused about the differences with the M90q Gen2. Are you sure it comes with a 170W brick? I think the i5 M90q G2 comes with a 125W one. Can you also confirm if the P350 has the PCIe riser slot, 2 M.2 2280 slots? Does it come with a 2.5"...
