Thanks a lot for the help. I haven't opened it yet but I have 12 ssds. Maybe they are spread to the 410 controller also. Can you share a link of that expander? I though I could just buy the 16i version and avoid any expander I didn't know I could change the 410i to IT mode. Will it work ok...

Yes. That is why I find strange that they claim it is not supported. I think SM has just disabled the option. But now with this custom BIOS one should be able to do it. Hence the request to you or Jerry or whoever also made it work for the full steps so that I can possibly try it on this...

From SM support!! as told previously :) : "Tonight or tomorrow I will post the custom BIOS they sent, but use it at your own discretion. As it turns own it doesn't seem to be officially supported."
