no, changing capacitors can only give the drive more reliabity, but not fix the speed issue. i'm testing something, which can maybe fix the speed issue - stay tuned, i give you more info tomorrow morning.. Jan

There are some good news and some bad news: good - smart can be cleared by smdcmd utility bad - the performance after smart clearing stay bad (nothing changed) But stay tuned - i see a light at the end of the tunnel :-)
