Mine does show the individual interfaces in vyos but I had to press the buttons next to the ports internally for them to appear. Maybe opening a feature request at Home with all the kernel settings you altered to get it working and the basics of getting a port to appear in the OS would be enough...

Have you made progress with DSA? I have another appliance that has a similar Atom C3XXX, two intel 10G interfaces feeding a Marvell chip that I'd like to experiment with but haven't been able to find enough information on how to configure the switch to present individual interfaces to the OS.

The 620 is a vep1400x. I used the ./vep1400x_ufw_2.2 command and it upgraded everything automatically.

After I did a BIOS reset, I got a RTC Battery warning until I set the time in an OS and let that sync the hardware clock. That removed that warning message.

When my 620 unit arrived, I booted it with both vyos and DANOS to see if the interfaces would show up. They all showed up correctly. Then I decided to update the BIOS, that was rough. Ultimately to install Dell DIAG-OS, I had to go into the existing BIOS and set it to only boot UEFI to the USB...

My unit didn't come with a power supply. Is the center pin positive? How many amps of 12V does it need?

Is there a linux equivalent of etherswitchcfg? Vyos mentioned at one point they were going to develop support for switch chips and this might be interesting to develop with.

Do you have the model numbers to look out for that are the LTE versions with the extra internal upgrade possibilities? Other than dealing with no video, is it straightforward to install an OS on?

It should run pfsense just fine. It has two Intel i350 1G NICs in it. Its not very loud at all after its fully booted.

I tried putting the H330 mini card in HBA mode and it still marked the drives as Blocked by the card. I ended up taking an old HP LSI card, getting a SAS breakout cable and putting that into a desktop machine to convert the drives to 512 byte. The H330 sees them now. Interestingly, the HBA...

My Dell H330 card in a FC630 and FD332 chassis can see that there are physical drives plugged in but won't pass them through even in HBA mode. I'll try reformatting them in a different system.
