I would have wanted this badly a few years ago, but now, I believe any decent enterprise NVMe SSD with internal battery-backed write cache can do better, and 8gb while enough for ZFS is not enough for Ceph. Just my 2 cents but I feel these should be alot cheaper used.
I won't buy any used SSD unless they post the output of the SMART data fields. It makes a huge difference to the dollar value in my books.
It sounds like maybe they test one or two of the least-used ones and the rest are in unknown condition.
