I followed these instructions from the forum to the letter. When I get to the last line that sets the SAS address I get "Invalid command -SASADD". Now the M1015 has no SAS Address.

Convert LSI9240(IBM M1015) to a LSI9211-IT mode
Type in the following exactly:
megarec -writesbr 0 sbrempty.bin
megarec -cleanflash 0
<reboot, back to USB stick >
sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin -b mptsas2.rom (sas2flsh -o -f 2118it.bin if OptionROM is not needed)
sas2flsh -o -sasadd 500605bxxxxxxxxx (x= numbers for SAS address)
<reboot>
Done!

Help please. :(

Crap. Nevermind, after trying it the 20th time it worked. Hard to believe I made a typo that many times but stranger things have happened. :rolleyes:

If only there was an updated bios for that issue, seems like humans have had the same buggy bios since around 3200 B.C. (Before Computers) :D

Yea, Think I'll stick with the Perc H310's from now on. They're easy to flash and the connectors are at the end of the card where they belong.
