I am not sure why exactly, but I saw this one on ebay today: Chenbro RC31710 3U 10 Bays Deep=18.5" w / ZIPPY 500W -Fit 12"X13"MB- OEM Chassis

I know we get people from time to time looking for short depth chassis. It comes with the Zippy PSU but I have no idea how hard it would be to change. From the pictures, if you could change that out, this could possibly be an option for those looking for a short depth but taller chassis. At $199 that is not bad at all.

One photo shows redundant PSU, but the second photo of the rear shows single PSU. Description lists single PSU only.

It's only SAS/ SATA II compatible also, although it may run at 6Gbps if wiring is kept short etc, plus a lot of the Chenbro backplanes are swappable with a bit of fiddling. Either way, I reckon it would make a great Plex/ Emby server platform :)

Now if only 2.5" big TB drives weren't so expensive :-(
Looks like a case I might want one day, though.

Forgot about those. Here in The Netherlands the cheapest external drive is 140 Euro.
That is a Maxtor drive, funny enough. Which is Seagate.
No doubt the same drive though.
