Alright ladies and gents. I lucked into the some new hardware right after purchasing 3 New Servers for my vSphere Cluster so the original servers I purchased are now up for grabs. I also threw up my Force10 Z9000 32 x 40gbe switch. All prices are OBO so if your interested let me know! Have lots of feedback under the same name on ebay. And have sold equipment to many users on this forum as well. Thanks! I'm in Austin Texas if anyone wanted to pick up locally or deal in cash we can work out a discounted price!

UPDATE: Also interested in trades for xeon-d hardware, SAS3 (12gb/s) ssds, nvme drives, and 6tb or larger spinning disks with minimal usage.

Could you post pics of the Fans, or look at the part number on the actual Fans (Sumon?). I have a NX5010 that keeps killing fans and instead of buying a new fan tray, looking to swap out the busted fan instead.

I'm hoping seeing it's the same generation of switches they used the same fans!

Do the Mellanox switches have Mellanox firmware or an OEM one? What does -1SFS mean? My Bing search is coming up empty.
The Mellanox switches have Mellanox firmware. Not OEM. The difference, (I think) between SFS and SFR is that the SFS ship with a single PSU and the SFR ship with redundant PSU's. That being said, both of these switches only have a single PSU. They also exhaust from the port side in case you were wondering. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Does the Mellanox 6036 come with the software license?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this? It comes with the standard license that was installed on it. It's fully functional and ready to go. I can take some screenshots of the web interface if you like? If you could clarify I'd appreciate it.

I believe the 6036 switch is able to have this Mellanox UNified Fabric Manager to give it additional features. eg Infiniband to ethernet gateways. Do these features require an additional add on license?
