Unless it was bandwidth constrained I don't see why not, guys use those with the high-end x16 GFX cards multiples per-motehrboard for mining.

If it works for this, that would be rather awesome, and I may investigate it further :D

M1015 is just a notch longer than 6.5 inches..
But we might be in luck with PCI express extension cable..
Measured 10 inches from beginning of IO shield plate.We have 2 chassis slots outside of the motherboard.So 2 long cards can be easily installed there..

Make sure you get a PCIe 2.0 compatible cable (or better, a 3.0 compatible one for future applications). Most of the easy to find flex risers you find on eBay or Amazon Marketplace are 1.0 only designs. If you use a 1.0/1.1 cable with the M1015 you'll be chasing ghosts and performance issues for a long, long time before you track it back to the silly PCIe flex riser cable.

OOOOOH one of those issues :)

Glad you posted, this sounds like something I'm going to try with my other set of CPUs once some gear sells.
