B&H was recently running a deal for $159.00 with F/S for the 240GB...

I think they sold out in like 5 minutes though... lol...

Sandisk is putting a lot of pricing pressure on the market lately. All good for consumers. :)

peace,

the main site review eluded to this, but these probably have old firmware without functioning TRIM. new firmware is out so just need to remember to flash before putting these in systems.

Was just going to post this one. Had to hold back from buying three (or seven) more. Odds are I will pick one to three up today.

Note here is a SSD comparison of this versus some of the other offerings.

Yep just grabbed the 120GB for $80 on same deal -- price/GB almost the same. I'd standardized on Crucial M4's for all my SSD's but these are good drives at a good price.

Price on 240 gig drives went up after the one day sale to $166. 120 gig for $90.65.

Still very affortable.

Wow! This is really interesting. Can't wait for the M4, Vertex 4 and 830 to follow suit. Looks like consumers are winning with Sandisk in the market.

$1,200 and you can get 8 drives capable of a combined 4GB/s+ over almost 1TB and probably combined under 30w of power draw.
