Dell PERC H310 in RAID mode reports these drives as "blocked". SATA drives pass through without any problem.
I guess I need to flash H310 to IT mode ...

If you think that is painful, look where I live... I'm investing in 15 kWp solar. Plan is to never buy a kWh from utility again. Difficult in winter months, but roof is only half full.

Mine just arrived. 100% health and extremely low usage. Total writes 12TB on one and 18TB on the other. Total time less than 30 days on both. Neither one is 520 so they worked after partitioning and formatting. I'd say this is an excellent deal.

I got you beat in San Diego. My current plan peaks at .69 between 4 and 9pm
Is it commercial? Because I have one of those custom plans with 44 cents between 4-9pm. Everything is shut within that time except dell wyse.

just got my one drive and it looks to be in similar age. It appears that several smart tests were run during it's life so that's nice.

I got 20 of these, half came formatted for 512b and half 4k. My Cisco M4 Controller won't work with the 512b formatted drives, it reports them as bad and won't let me do anything with them

Usually 512 byte ormatting is the easiest for compatibility purposes.

Out of curiosity, did the labels correctly reflect the formatting inside?

Have you tried sg_format on them?
