Best I've found.
B-Ware from Arlt with "scratches" and "without equipment" (whatever that means) 179€ plus shipping

If you want to haggle:

The latter has TG and I don't want that. And if that first one doesn't include the vented top I can't use it anyway.

Crazy, I paid 180 with VAT 2 years ago. But back then I had to wait 6 months for FD-A-TRAY-001 to show up anywhere. After months found a Czech shop that had exactly one such pack. In the entirety of Europe.

Now also looking for the Tempered Glass version as I found out you can just swap the latch for the panels around!

Case found. And indeed, you can just swap the latches around to turn a TG Define 7/XL into a "normal" case.

Only for a single 5.25" bay or multiple bays?

I still have an IcyDock MB155SP-B (5x3.5") and MB154SP-B (4x3.5") backplane in my old homeserver I've been wanting to part out for a year now...

Both fit in 3x5.25" bays. IIRC I replaced the fans with ebm papst, but have to check.
154 is SATA-only, 155 is SAS/SATA.
From just glancing over the offers on ebay I'd say 100EUR for the 155 and 60EUR for the 154 or 150EUR for both (plus shipping from Germany). I can also throw in some SATA-cables if needed...

I only have space for two 5.25" devices unfortunately.

Still looking!
Here is one option from startech. I've had a similar enclosure/adapter for several years and it has held up ok. If this one is the same, the door latching and drive seating mechanism is kind of weak. Be careful not to force it closed if something is out of alignment.

Best of luck with your search,
PD
