Just to jump in on this - I want to be sure you purchased the Sunon (or similar) fan for the ASIC as well - that's sort of the magic that makes this all work. You also need to have it when you crimp the rest of the fans since you need to wire it in to fan 3 (assuming you're doing all 3 fan headers).
What are your idle temps?
I idle around 88.9 degrees is this normal?

This is quite hot. At 93 °C the step 2 of the fan control will jump in.

Rule 1/2 (MGMT THERMAL PLANE):
Speed 1: NM<----->93 deg-C
Speed 2: 82<----->105 deg-C (shutdown)
Better to put a fan on top of the ASIC cooling block. You need a very slim one. I used a Sunon MF60101V3-1000U-A99. Only 10 mm i hight. Someone else used a Sunon MF60101V1-1000U-A99 with is a little bit more airflow at a little bit louder noise. Some used "brute force" to fix with screws in the cooling fans. I used creativity and an fixed it with an elastic band to the cooling block. Removable without any damage.

Instead of buying crimp connectors I used what I had. I cut the cable of some old 3-pole PC fans and with some creativity I connected the wires to the new fans.

okay i just put the old fans back on, before i purchase the sunon fan from digikey and pay another 60$ shipping, is there anything else i need for this to work?

also how do i connect more than 2 fans to the switch, as there are only 2 fan headers on the board?

Quite simple. Connect ground (-) of both fans to the same pin and voltage (+) of both fans to the same pin. The frequency signal only use of one fan, the one on the chassis. That's it. Soldering, screwing, crimping, knotting, ... Choose what ever technique is suitable for you to connect electrical wires.

There are Y-adaptors to by in the PC section. But because the pin set-up on ICX is different to standard PC setup you cannot use these out of the box. You also need to switch the pins. This is what I di I pulled out the pins of the Y adaptor and reinstalled to match to ICX wiring.

Hi - Trying to configure a trunk port - coming from Cisco -

I tried:

Code:
BrO6450#conf t
BrO6450(config)#vlan 75 name pbx
BrO6450(config-vlan-75)#untag e 1/1/1 to 1/1/14

BrO6450#conf t
BrO6450(config)#vlan 85 name data
BrO6450(config-vlan-85)#untag e 1/1/15 to 1/1/46

BrO6450(config)#trunk e 1/1/47 to 1/1/48
BrO6450(config)#trunk deploy
Command Not Allowed in NI style LAG CLI mode
Im looking to setup Vlan 75 & 85 and have port 47-48 the trunk ports. Is trunking called something else in brocade land?

It would depend on what version of ICX you're running. I thought it was posted by OP but he eventually links to Terry Henry's YouTube channel that describes it.

These videos are great for you because he translates from Cisco CLI.

Trunks:
Dual mode for untagged:
End of dual mode (8.0.80 and later):

Im more confused now. I did this below & It does work - sort of.

My uplink has vlan 85 as default & trunked to 75 from the cisco.

I added this below:

Code:
BrO6450(config)#vlan 75
BrO6450(config-vlan-75)#tagged e 1/1/47
Added tagged port(s) ethe 1/1/47 to port-vlan 75.
BrO6450(config-vlan-75)#interface e 1/1/47
BrO6450(config-if-e1000-1/1/47)#dual-mode
BrO6450(config-if-e1000-1/1/47)#wr mem
By default it thinks that Vlan 1 (really 85) is on & Vlan 75 (is correct). While it works, for consistency I think I should do this the 'right' way where Vlan85 is primary & 75 is a trunk option on some ports.

That's not quite the right command(s). If that's what you want... (if I remember my commands right...)

vlan 75
tagged e 1/1/47
vlan 85
tagged e 1/1/47
int e 1/1/47
dual-mode 85
wr mem

This should make 1/1/47 dual mode with a default vlan of 85.

I am unsure about 8030, which is what you're probably on as you are running a 6450? But I think you build the LAG, then add the LAG to the VLAN, which is similar to Cisco, as I recall (you go into the port channel interface on the Cisco and set your VLANs there, right?)

I know for ICX 7k running 8090 I build the LAG, then add the LAG interface to the VLANs, not the individual Ethernet interfaces.

Code:
lag SVR-A:BCM dynamic id 1
 ports ethe 1/1/9 to 1/1/10
 port-name SVR-A:BCM1 ethernet 1/1/9
 port-name SVR-A:BCM2 ethernet 1/1/10
!
<snip>
vlan 4 name LAN by port
 tagged ethe 1/2/1 ethe 1/3/1 ethe 1/3/3
 untagged ethe 1/1/1 to 1/1/8 ethe 1/1/15 to 1/1/46 ethe 1/2/2 to 1/2/4 ethe 1/4/1 lag 1 to 3
 router-interface ve 4
 spanning-tree
!

POE Question

I used these commands to turn ON POE for Brocade 7250-48p port number 1/1/3; then realized I made an error and wanted POE turned on at port 1/1/4 (which I did).

enable
configure terminal
interface e 1/1/3
inline power

confirm everything with "show inline power"

QUESTION: How do I use the CLI to turn OFF POE at port 1/1/3

Thanks, that's great!

So if I have 5 clans coming in from a Cisco (feeding the brocade) but only 3 vlans going into the brocade, 75, 85, 95 - when setting up the switch should VE1 actually be VE 85?

Can I set the default vlan to something other than 1?

The pertinent of that guide is

If you do not specify a vlan-id in the dual mode command, the port default VLAN is set to 1. The port transmits untagged traffic on the DEFAULT-VLAN.

You can change the default VLAN, but it's likely a better idea to just use dual-mode 85 instead of simply dual-mode on the appropriate port(s).
Agreed @richtj99, for security and network segregation you almost certainly do not want every device you or anyone else plugs into that switch at any point in the future defaulting to vlan 85 access, which is what would happen on every port not individually tagged/untagged to some other vlan by you specifically. Better to have the unused ports remain defaulted untagged to an unused vlan 1.

I was asking about switching default vlans in the linked post because the unleashed ruckus AP’s use vlan 1 for its management network And do not have away to change in unleashed.

Am I misunderstanding things? I am using non-VLAN 1 for my Ruckus Unleashed APs for management. I just changed the native VLAN ID. VLANs defined in Access VLAN configuration are tagged.
