I just finished setting up an EPYC 7702 rig with the H11SSL-i board. Everything went smoothly but I had to remove the LSI SAS controller (9266-8i) or else windows will not install (BSOD). After a successful windows installation I plugged the card back in and the same BSOD appeared (storeport.sys)..any idea guys?

This SAS controller worked fine with the past two Intel based Supermicro boards..

tried bios update ??

or tried the card driver from LSI ??
Bios is running the latest version for the MB. I can't even get windows to boot let alone update the HBA driver lol. I've contacted supermicro support will see what they say.

first of all and very important that you realize...your card is HARDWARE RAID card, it is NOT hba card.

as i understood, you were able to get into windows without the raid card.

if yes, get into windows without problematic card, download the driver from LSI and install it without the card in the system.

Thanks I took a look at the driver files, its a bunch of INF files so I am unable to install the driver unless the card is present in the system...

The issue is now FIXED. For some reason the drives on the controller is causing conflict with the fresh install of windows. So I reset the adapter to factory setting, wiped all the virtual drives and everything is back up!
