Useful to know, I didn’t think those fans would have enough static pressure to do the job. But there is also the option of the 8k Supermicro / nidec fans that are between the Noctua and the shipping loud fans.Hi,
I replaced the stock fans on E300-9D Xeon D2123 with the noctua ones 40x20 PWM and it works like a charm on ESXi with 7VM.
All sensors are green and it's very silent.
