I'm looking for a fanless web-managed 24-to-28-port 1GbE switch with 2 SFP+ 10Gb uplinks.

Any suggestions? No Microtik due to historical security concerns. No "cloud managed". Currently using an HPE but wow, HPE's site makes it impossible to find products. I did find an HPE unmanaged 1420 series but no web managed.

The only unit I've found so far is the Zyxel XGS2210-28, which doesn't seem to actually be available for sale anywhere in the US.

thanks,

KC

The "no Microtik" deal breaker seems to take the most likely candidate off the table (CSS326-24G-2S).

I know they've had "oops" moments recently but if past serious security flaws were cause to blackball a manufacturer you'd have to start your blacklist with Cisco, Juniper, Netgear, Arista, Zyxel, and pretty much everyone else too (has it been too long to remember the wide-open back door Cisco left in their ASR series switches...and the unreasonable time after it was exposed/proven that they still denied it and refused to fix?).

I've got a couple of Dell N1148T-ON switches sitting in my office that are fanless, have 4 SFP+ ports, and can be managed via a web UI or a more traditional console UI similar to the other Dell N-series switches. If you've got any questions let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.
Dang - looks perfect but I'll have to pay through the nose, $1375 is about double what I expected. Thanks for the tip anyhow.

If you're open to buying used, there are a couple of N1124 and N1148 switches on eBay right now with prices starting at a couple of hundred for the N1124T-ON. FWIW, I picked up both of mine used for about that price (maybe a bit less, I can't remember at the moment).

UniFi Switch 24
Sound Level 34 dBa - this is basically a tiny whisper. Most rooms are 32dBa then "quiet"
To manage it either install free management software (Unifi Controller) or buy one of these toys:
UniFi Cloud Key Gen2
Possibly seems excessive to manage a single switch, but controller manages ALL of installed UniFi devices (firewalls, switches, wifi access points

More info:
https://dl.ubnt.com/guides/UniFi/UniFi_Controller_V3_UG.pdf
The 24 port is sfp only, not sfp+
You get SFP+ on the UniFi Switch 48

Be careful with the unify switch 48... Ubnt made a change to the fan logic and now they run those switches at super high temps.

As per an earlier thread, I've been playing around with a mates' TP-Link T1700G-28TQ; 24x1GbE and 4x10Gb SFP+ slots, decent CLI and web management, low power and passively cooled. It's not sexy or anything but has been solid for me so far.

I've been running a Brocade ICX 6450-24 fanless for the last six weeks or so and it's never gotten hot enough to even trigger the fan logic that would normally kick the fan from from low speed to high. That might be an option for you as well.

This is the normal single fan 6450-24, not the PoE 6450-24P.
