Looking to build a home storage server based on a E5-1630 v4 cpu that can manage sata 3 drives as well as a Asus Hyper m.2 nvme card that houses 4 nvme drives.

For that purpose I am looking for a motherboard that runs on a) Xeon E5-1600 v4 CPUs, b) exposes two x16 pcie lanes (runs two x16 slots concurrently) and c) can bifurcate one of the x16 slots into x4x4x4x4.

Does anyone know of such motherboard?

Thanks

At first sight that looks like the ideal board, thanks a lot. Will research more about whether it only supports Supermicro add on cards in bifurcation mode or not.

I know Supermicro X10SRA-F does have the bifurcation support.

I've used Dell Ultra speed quad card in the past so know it does support non supermicro add-in cards and can boot from NVMe. I had only 1 M.2 drive and the cost of the Dell card was not worth. ASUS makes a similar one that usually goes for around $60.

That's the one I have. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Re motherboards I am also considering the Xeon W-2123 and SM x11-SRA.
