That's pretty decent price. Problem is that i already have 16x16gb filled in my z9ped16. So now i am really looking for a drop in the lrdimm so i can upgrade to 512gb at a decent price. anyone got a link for cheap ddr3 lrdimm? will we ever see 32gb ddr3 lrdimm at $50-60?

I'm in the same boat...been watching for 1600MHz or faster 32GB DDR3 LRDIMMs. The good news is there are auctions closing around $50-60 now, just not the norm yet.

For those needing a lot of ram for their mobile ws. i5, i7 H cpu 8th gen coffee lake laptop with 2 so-dimm slots can definitely use 64gb if you got the money....
the lenovo P52 has 4 slots so can handle up to 128gb ram. However lenovo seems to only allow this only if you buy the 128gb ram from them at a premium because apparently they have to "tweak" the memory controller ;(. and only non-ecc 32gb so-dimm..

Hopefully this is a sign of improving supply. Though this is DDR4-2133 I see couple of listings <$80. For example with a OBO

the 16gb dimms are getting better but i am wondering if the 32gb dimm for both ddr4 and ddr3 will ever get better.

good deals are not there everyday....lol.. that's why it's called good deal. I got 12x 4gb ddr3 for $60 from a member on here not long ago.
16GB DDR3 ECC UDIMM for $20 is not a normal "Good Price", that's like an insane, crazy-low price you won't find often.
