If you already have a moca setup, the g1100 can act as a moca converter. I got 2 off ebay and can get 500Mbps via iperf through them on a 600Mbps link. :)

Yep! I learned about this from a thread on smallnetbuilder where we were discussing moca 2.0 speeds and how they're very close to gigabit with bonded 2.0. The g1100 doesn't use bonded 2.0, but it does use 2.0, which in my personal tests resulted in a 600Mbps link according to the two g1100 I got, and iperf tests were just shy of 500Mbps. Not bad for a $70 investment--and that was for 2 of them. Better than powerline and half the cost of the bonded moca 2.0 adapters--plus each one has a 4 port gigabit switch so they're great for bridging networks over a coax link.
