LSI MegaRAID SAS 9280-16i4e still useful?

I pulled one of these controllers from a surplus workstation but I'm having trouble finding current drivers and firmware for it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Better yet, anyone want to buy it? Current firmware has a build date of September 15th 2011.

I would need to check which firmware and drivers I am using but card is working in Windows 10.

I am using 4i4e and 16i4e may be useful for additional connection to DAS in a box with 8 or more drives.
I suspect only 16 channels out of 20 connections are active and using 4e disables 1 4i.

That link points to drivers from 2010, older than the firmware on my card. This incantation brings up drivers:
Support Documents and Downloads
The Readme's to the various MegaRAID drivers don't list support but I wonder if it's unofficially supported? Ah, in MegaSAS2.inf for the current Windows 10 64-bit drivers I see:
mraid928016i4e.DeviceDesc = "LSI MegaRAID SAS 9280-16i4e"
So it probably works, just not officially?

Drivers are built into windows, not really needed
But just grab them from Broadcom if needed

is there a way to flash or crossflash 9280-16i4e into IT-mode? i hate RAID (or HW RAID).

any fm for this card in IT-mode, without using or makeing raid-0
