Just accepted a $200 best offer. 3 left, have fun.
I was able to get one of the last two for $225 + shipping. I saw there were 6 competing offers and bumped the offer a bit.

If anyone is able to locate the latest layer 2 or 3 firmware please let us know/PM.

Thanks!

Well hell that's a NICE switch, jealous!

EDIT: Thought those were 8 10G SFP+ ports as well on a quick look but they are 1GbE, I don't feel so bad now.

These are 10GBE depending on the license installed on the switch. It's a bit of a crap shoot on what you'll get, I'll report back what mine comes with. *fingers crossed*

If I wasnt a junos junkie I'd probably seriously look for one of these and hold you to it! heh worst luck here thought, sure these won't come back avail at this pricepoint in FOREVA and I am a cheap/thrifty bastard!

well, they come fully functioning, but they were advertised (and locked) for stacking-only ports with other ICX's. They realized after designing the box they accidentally made a 1ru switch with more aggregate l3 bandwidth then their top of the line chassis switch at the time, and didn't want to undercut it by half the price, so they locked them off for "stacking only". fully bypassable though

almost forgot: if you bought a 6610 PoE model, don't forget to update the PoE controller, (after you've updated the bootloader and OS).

at the enable cli level just do

Code:
inline power install-firmware stack-unit 1 tftp 192.168.1.8 fcx_poeplus_02.1.0.b004.fw
files and more info here FastIron v8 - FBOM Docs

With Ruckus buying the business from Brocade, the firmware is actually available now with just a created account, no contract necessary.

I have an ICX6430, anyone figured out how to get the system to use a non-deprecated ssh config so I don't have to make manual changes to all of my hosts?

Just following back up on this. Big thanks to @fohdeesha for posting the docs and creating the tutorial, and for the help in PM's. Now running a fully functioning 4x 40gb + 8x 10gb + 48x 1gbe switch, for $210.

This sucker is amazing. Well documented, fast as hell. Pulled a sustained 18.6 gb/s from my virtualized freenas to 4x clients on 10gbe, and the raid array was definitely the bottleneck, not the switch. Seems like it will take any optics like a champ, haven't found anything that wouldn't work. Even tired a few DAC cables I had, no issues at all. Best of all? It's noticably quieter than my lb4m, and only uses 9 more watts according to my UPS (no PoE load).

Glad to hear you're happy w/ it, jealous over here :p Would be my ideal switch to replace my Juniper EX4300 'someday' when they come back reasonable.
