This is all I have to go on.

Spotted: 960 GB & 1.5 TB Intel Optane SSD 900P

"Therefore, a potential launch of the 900P 960 GB/1.5 TB models in U.2 form-factor"

Even in the form-factor you want :)

I would imagine as more optane comes out it will drop in price... I don't know much about the technical side of them maybe @Patrick does but it seems to me Intel can make them cheaper than NAND based drives? Maybe I'm wrong on that though.

Looks exciting. Awesome workstation and watercooling.

Why not professional graphics since this is a workstation and would be helpful for a 10 bit monster monitor

Just not a need for me based on my workload.

Awwwwwww man, im working on a punisher build. Could you please hold off on yours for a year or so? Actually could you not do punisher? Thanks!

In all seriousness, i am gonna watch your build now. I was torn between a sma8 REV-A or a lian li pc-v3000. I went with the pc-v3000, and im glad i did, or we would have had 2 of the EXACT same builds, if yours is black and white, which im assuming it will be. I wish you good luck, and i hope yours is sick, do the SKULL justice my man.

You can follow mine if you want,

Damn I just saw this. Building is fun.

No WC, but I am finishing up two TR systems inside a W200 crammed with all sorts of goodies, I will have to post it eventually. Lots of noctua inside.

[preemptive strike] Before the shit-talkers that always seem to show up online about "thermalfake" and gush over how holy saint caselabs has been wronged by the world: I have some caselabs too, they are nice but its not all sunshine and rainbows with them either - they only seem to know how to fold and cut aluminum and nothing else, sometimes they force too much design around that fact. So those uppity fangirls can piss off. [/preemptive strike]

This build has been going a lot slower than I had intended but finally starting to get underway. It's amazing how much less time you have when you're married with obligations compared to my single days
.

Anyways, just a few pics for nww as I started to install a few components just for the sake of getting a feel for spacing and how I want to run my dual loops. I finally have some free time this week with the wifey away on business so I gotta get moving and get my fittings ordered!

Fittings (most of them) are in along with another SR2 (280mm), tubing (16mm OD PETG), and some shrouds/gaskets. Starting piece together the loop bit by bit.

Alright, major progress on the build today. Got as far as running some tube but unfortunately ran out of a few key fittings needed to continue so I'll have to wait till midweek for those to come in before I can finish. All in all, I'm getting real close. Check progress pics here but below is a few teasers.

Decided to add a second windowed door for the backside of my case since so much of the tubing is back there. Now I have to keep it clean!

I haven't done a water cooling setup since the all in one cpu coolers have been out, so im out of touch with current WC methods. I was curious how you get the tubing to bend without kinking? Is the tubing flexible and will bend at a nice 90 deg bend or did you have to do some procedure to it IE heat it up?

wow that is a lot of work. not sure i would have the patience for all that.

It's actually not a lot of work at all. It takes about 2-3 minutes per tube bend for me. This was also my first time doing hard tubing and I had very few issues.

Alright, build id 99% done. Spent the past week flushing my system with Mayhems Blitz to clean out any gunk from rads/blocks and then 4-5 times with distilled water. Followed that up with some short benchmark tests to ensure temps weren't poor due to any poor installation of blocks. I'm still waiting on my custom sleeved cables and as you can see I ran out of coolant to top off my reservoirs. I'll have final build pics by the end of the week. Here's a quick sneak peak for now.

Disclaimer, I've done no cable management as there's no point until my custom PSU cables are in.
