@WOW At XMR prices - all my mining with the XEONs and now GPUs are paying off (at least on paper) Thanks once again to patrick @ STH for getting me back in the game. My BTC from years back funded all my new system.

What the fck is going on with nethash? Difficulty is skyrocketing. Network hashrate has jumped to the moon just in few days. From where are comes these 100MH just in few hours yesterday?
This is abnormal jump in nethash. Seems I should switch to another coin. Bye monero, you are becoming coin for botnets and whales

How are you guys converting XMR to USD? Looking for the lowest transaction rate possible and where? XMR - BTC - USD? XMR-ETH-USD? Where though? Bitfinex-Coinbase?

Perhaps use LTC as the go-between to transfer to Coinbase

Too many Vagas and botnets caused the doubled nethash just within month or so.
Nethash has risen 5x just within 6 months. Bullshit

Nope. Nothing has changed without nicehash.
Difficulty has jumped on insane 50% just within one week
The time period between when the Vega's started becoming hard to buy, and when the difficulty skyrocketed, coincides well with how long it would take to receive products ordered online and set them up for mining.

More simply: a week after everyone went out-of-stock on Vega's, the difficulty did a huge jump.

For the few days where the profit/hash went down substantially, buying Vega cards started to get a bit easier. Then when Monero spiked from the low 200's to the low 300's, Vega's everywhere became super rare again almost immediately.

To be fair, 6 months ago the price was around $40/XMR so hashrate seems to follow price.
This due to rush of btc. Xmr price has decreased from 0.03 to 0.018btc.

Definitely we can say only one thing: Vegas destroy ROI and profit/hash on CPUs.

Actually, if you look at the BTC/XMR ratio we've hovered around 0.018 for the last 6 months with an occasional spike due to news. It always sells off back to this rate. At least it makes it predictable to trade.

Not at all when they are $700. I unlike most others I have super cheap power, so I specifically look at $/HASH.

DL385's with dual 62XX procs are still extremely viable. I get 800H/sec out of those servers, and they are less than $200. They also just run. No tweaking necessary, no assembly -AND- they come with the power supplies that I use for GPU rigs.

Too lazy to do anything about, this morning XMR at $459.

About 10 months ago, I want to learn about setting up XMR pool software, so I setup my own private pool.

I solo mine XMR with 3.5KH/s , found a lucky block in 2-3 hours. It worth about 8.9 XMR.
