Anyone has this MB please let me know if there is any compatibility issue with windows 10. I 've heard of acpi bios incompatibility...

Much appreciated if someone who has this board can give some input if they have tried win 10 on it. thanks

I am in the same situation - I want to upgrade to Win 10 64 bit Pro on this Asus Z9PE-D16/2L MB, but Asus site and support says only 8.1 and down supported.

Did you try it? Did it work? I read one other post that someone had installed Win 10 on this MB and it worked, but I'm sure that can depend on what you're using on the MB.

I bought the board and it worked fine w dual 2696 v2 which are not supported on intel s2600cp. So you are good to go with asus MB under win 10. sleep works good

Thanks! That is reassuring for dual processors on it. Do you have a graphics card on it? I heard that may be an issue with Win 10 on this board.

I also have a 16-way SATA III card with 10 SSD's on it, 2XRAID 1 disks for the OS using the Intel RAID included on the board, and 128GB RAM (4X16 on each processor 2680 v2).

I'll run the Win 10 compatibility wizard, and I can always downgrade back to 8.1, but would rather be certain first. I'm running a big Oracle database on it and would rather not have to reinstall everything if the Win 10 upgrade goes wrong.

you should be ok. i haven't spot any compatibility issue running win 10 with it on for days. sleep function works fine. didn't have any crash. i did even use an old quadro fx 3800 and it still ran fine. Was actually running the latest win 10 1709.

a lot of WS like dell T5500 which is x58 1366 based would work fine with earlier win 10 but would not work with the latest 1709.
