I'm fitting out a Dell m1000e - and need RAM.

I know this is totally unrealistic in a single order, but I'm looking for 192 x 8 GB Modules - DDR3 ECC RAM. I don't except any seller to be able to fill that, but I want to be able to populate at least 1 blade at a time - so minimum requirement is 12 common modules at a time. This is a longish term project so if you have them, I may not be able to buy all at once, but I need that many.

Looking to pay around eBay prices of $15-$16 per 8TB - upto $192 per 96GB

Oh, and if you have older Xeon E/X5600's better than a E5645 - let me know your price.

.... was just about to list on eBay before checking here - I have 72 x 8GB Hynix HMT31GR7BFR4C dimms that I pulled from M610 servers - most likely what you're using too since these are the max they can take.
For the M1000 chassis I also have a pair of I/O Aggregators each with a 40GbE uplink module - these were used for a very brief eval before we went with Cisco switches.
Let me know if you're interested in the above.

@AdrianT Very interested - my blades are the 610's - what do you have and asking prices ? I'm also looking for drives/cpus, a couple of the SFP+ 10Gb blades and 5 more compute blades

The only other stuff I have are 16gb & 32gb 1333Mhz dimms that I'll be putting up on eBay when I can get around to it. If you're able to buy all 72 dimms then I'll let them go at $15 per stick plus paypal fees plus actual shipping costs from Toronto - it's around 4kg of dimms so Canadapost Xpresspost shipping should be around $40-45 usd depending on where they're going.

I'm going to be testing the server out this weekend, if no problems, then I'll take all 73.

Thanks.

Couldn't test the server - eBay seller sent me the wrong PSU modules, but I'll take al 72. Email me at haitch@burst-team.us to organize it

Sorry Haitch I made a mistake after prepping the package ..... 10 of these dimms are the 8GB Hynix HMT31GR7AFR4C-G7 8500R 1066MHz dimms. Sorry about that.
However, I'm pretty sure that these can be mixed with the 1333MHz dimms as long as it's done in pairs. When doing this the speed of all dimms in the server would be reduced to 1066MHz - hopefully someone here can confirm this.
If you're still buying the 62 x 8GB 1333MHz dimms I'll sell you the 10 x 8GB 1066MHz dimms at $10 each.

Not a problem, I can do one blade with the 1066's - will only impact that one.

Got the memory today, won't be able to test it for a week, but I just wanted to give you a shout out for how well this was packed, the prompt service, and you even threw in a couple of extra of the 1066 DIMMs to make the full 12 set I was after.
