I saw that after looking through some old threads, the lowest average prices since I completed my built (within last two months) have been about $300. Theres a couple of places that have it cheaper, but on average thats what I've been finding. The seller denied a request of $190 for 2 sticks, but accepted $210 for 2.

Yup. Retail (large supplier) prices up 30-50% and used/spot market (e.g., ebay) prices up 70-100% since December. Bad time to buy, wait 9-12 months if you can. Sucks if you can't :).

My first 'adventure' into DDR4 RDIMM I was getting a DEAL paying $190/16GB RDIMM retail, yikeeeees!

Glad we had a bunch of months to get it for $65-75 on ebay :)

I'll do like @PigLover says and wait another few months to get $1k DDR4 256GB again hehe.

Ditto! Yeah I'm going to take your advice on waiting for my next DDR4 ECC purchase. That was the best deal I saw for awhile so I hopped on, and I was starving my XeonD platform w/ about 2GBs free of 32GB nonECC DDR4. 64 GBs should hold me over until the prices are more reasonable.
Thanks for the insight.
