Hello.
I have a problem: the SK Hynix 1024 GB (16x64 GB) DDR4 ECC 2933 MHz RAM, models HMAA8GR7MJR4N-WM (14 pcs) and HMAA8GR7AJR4N-WM (2 pcs) shows ECC errors on two different Supermicro H11DSi-NT motherboards with two Epyc 7282 processors, as well as on two different Supermicro motherboards H11SSL-i with a 7282 processor when tested by the Memtest86 program (in all tests).
I also tested only 512 GB (8 pieces) and 256 GB (4 pieces) on a motherboard with 7282 processors - the same errors ECC.
However, the same memory works without errors if you install Epyc 7551p processors (on single-processor motherboards, there are no other processors available for dual-processor boards except 7282). The memory was divided into 512 GB halves and tested in 2666 MHz mode (this is the maximum for 7551p).
I ordered two more Epyc 7601 processors to test on dual-processor motherboards in 2666 mode, I am sure that there will be no errors there either. I attached screenshots. Therefore, I have a question - what is the cause of these errors, and is there any way to eliminate them, for example, by setting the BIOS?

EPYC and SM don't like Hynix. can be a BIOS compatibility issue. add some timing penalty ? don't know if possible in your BIOS.
note you have two different BIOS, one for Naples, one for Rome, two AGESA

Yes, it is possible that it is. Now I'm testing 2Tb of RAM on the same boards (16 128 GB Samsung 2933 Mhz) - there are no errors.

Are you sure the DIMMs aren't overheating? I've seen ECC errors before with overheating DIMMs so it may be worth a shot

No, I think there was no overheating, there were coolers for blowing, besides, errors appeared almost immediately, after 2-4 minutes
