I checked in the HCM, it reports that it is in PCIe 8x and Gen 2 mode on both machines.

So I got the Fiber cables in today. Still getting 2gbps on iperf. Is it possible that I have one or more bad cards?

So I RTFM for the Brocade 1020. The "1020-1010" ships with Twinax GBICs, the "1020-0010" ships with Fiber GBICs. As usual, QLogic support is trying to scare people away.

Humm. Well it seems Twinax doesn't work so good. I got a twinax cable from Ebay and only getting 3gbps on a good day. I'm now getting those Fiber transceivers / cables from Fiberstore (link above). Just waiting for them to arrive now.
