For anyone that missed the main site post: http://www.servethehome.com/40gbe-intel-fortville-xl710-networking/
Intel is/ has launched dual 40GbE (QSFP+) adapters that run at 7w and can be split into 4x 10GbE on each QSFP+ port (so 8x 10GbE from a single card for 7w).
I know a lot of folks are playing around with 10GbE gear here, and software defined networking and storage.
What are your plans for this new generation?
And yes... the real life versions are amazing.
