dual CPU should be double the bandwidth thought.
Yes, i understand but they got more than double 550GB/s read vs my 234GB/s read.
I am not complaining, it was just interesting for me. with Q03J i got 270GB/s read, on Asus w790 sage. Same memory, also on 4800MT. 234-270GB/s still a bit of a gap.
Interestingly enough dual Q0KG is reported to have around 90K CB R23, while a single one already does 66K.

AIDA64 is a guess meter. multithread bandwidth report.
you can have lower band but more power. only this value form AIDA64 says NOTHING,

there a loss in dual socket config. cbr23 can not utilize good over sockets, cbr24 is better.
and there is windows.....
and why do you think AMD EPYCs have so much L3 ??? they will have much lower scores with less.

OK, but it is the only comparison i have against another Q0KG. The screenshot of the seller.
I also included the passmark score. In the next week i will try to do this stream memory test on Linux that Civiloid was speaking about.

you can not realy compare this with SPR. above 5ghz you can think about.

gen 13,14 8P-cores 253Watts
vs
SPR 48 P-cores 350W
This was also a good point.

if you want to compare your Q0KG with them you need same board/RAM/AIDA64(wlicense)

Probably best would be to visit them, and plug my Q0KG in their board, keeping everything else the same. But seriously i just wanted to compare my Q0KG setup against anything that also had a Q0KG to see if the performance is about right. Yes, true. maybe also the AIDA64 license part makes a difference.

i bet this mem.band is the very best they ever got and they can't repeat that LOL
aybe also the AIDA64 license part makes a difference.
you need v6.60 (SPR support ?? )
you use v7.2x evaluation

Spot on v6.60 no SPR support, probably weird results.

Other tangent question, in a PM conversation with a member on the forum, the topic of Kingston Fury Renagade Pro 5600 came up also in the context of use in a server.
JEDEC spec is 4800MT. Does that mean that even later with en Emerald Rapid in a C741 board, it will only run at 4800MT or is there a possibility for it to run at 5600MT speed, if the cpu natively supports that?

I thought no, but to be honest i am not completely sure. Because I just never tried a server board with workstation memory. Usually only the other way around.

without XMP/EXPO support all Kingston Fury Renagade Pro will work at 4800Mt JEDEC

User Civiloid seems very happy with his Q03J. But yes that is on a confirmed board.
Yup. But I also don't need any of the extra accelerators and when I was buying I was aware that biggest probability for the CPU to have problems is in AMX, QAT and other new features.

Interestingly enough dual Q0KG is reported to have around 90K CB R23, while a single one already does 66K.
Keep in mind that almost no multi-threaded software scales linearly. There are exceptions, but in general it is hard to eliminate cross-thread communication and that means you need to synchronise, you have expensive cache coherency protocols, and 3-4x the latency to just talk to any of the resources that belong to the other socket.

I've recently noticed what LGA4677 Emerald Rapids become available, for instance low-core 4510 almost reasonably priced (itm on ebay : 386976212716),
Possibly not even ES/QS but looks like prod
Does anyone already has experience with those? Are they ok with C741 PCH (on SuperMicro) ?

it is PRD unit. supermicro C741 is ok. you need at least BIOS 1.3a for X13DEI i.e.
but in EU silver 4510 is 720 EUR(tray new).

As for a price I do agree, €25 per core is the upper justifiable limit.
Not sure what all those ebay sellers are waiting for with QS/ES and fake-printed lids by trying to keep prices that high.
Although it mostly looks like they to not actually own inventory but are just resellers (hence only copy-pasting price+margin and are not flexible to price it adequately).

Today incoming...
This is not the original top lettering of this CPU, the CPU has been polished and re-lettered, and you can see the logo in the upper left corner is different from other D0 stepping CPUs.
Most of the time this to improve the appearance (It was old).

All D0 cpus should have circular LOGO.
